Talking ICOM IC-208H installed in FJC - pics

Moved my CB antenna to the ARB Bull Bar passenger side.
Moved my Sirius S50 to the passenger side too.

Used the bracket that latched down the lug wrench as the mounting location for the rig. I need to shorten my antenna cable as soon as I can pick up a 259 plug.

Needed a 90 degree screwdriver and lots of patience to get this mounted securely.

The remote head mounted perfectly under the drivers side vent with some double sided tape.

Extended the mic connection using a Cat5e strait through cable and a M/M coupler.

Good ole' Bandi mount for the antenna.

Cool! That's the same one I have, but I mounted it under the seat.

I thought about mounting it in the back like you did, but I didn't want to remove all the other stuff that's already back there.

Looks great, I have the same radio.

Side note: Have you figured out how to change the color display on it yet?

Did you do the extended RX TX mod on it yet? Super EASY did mine in about 30 seconds. Allowed me to communicate with the race truck while in Baja. While not 100% legal, this is a great mod to extend your comm channels in case of emergency.

Not to mention the added ability to talk to FRS radios also... That is if you were to mod it.
