canon a560 or sony dsc-w55?
i had pretty much figured out i want the sony but apparently so does everybody else. there is no getting one around here any time soon.
i've kind of settled on the canon, though i'm open to suggestions to another brand/model in this price range.

Funny, I've been looking at the Sony too since our W1 went missing. I'm actually going to pick up a W7 on Ebay. The W55 is a li-ion battery and uses the smaller memory stick duo. I like AA batts and have the full size memory sticks.

i ended up cheaping out and going with a dsc-650. the previous camera was a dsc-30 and i wanted to stick with sony, i can get a better one later if i don't care for this one.
