13bt Water Pump

Howdy

the seal on my 13bt water pump is started to leak. does anyone know if the water pump is serviceable or a throw away part?

i'd like to also thank Mr Toyota in making another part that involves removing half the engine bay to remove.

Hello,

I don't know about the 13bt, but on the 3B a new Toyota waterpump is so cheap you don't bother to service it. Also it is very easy to access. All you need to remove are the two belts. I used less than 2 hours, coffee break included. Most of that time I spent on removing the old gasket.
