OK, I put my question in a different way.
What materials should I absolutely not use for pipes in contacts with diesel? __________________ BJ42 1982 * The Primitive Beast - wvo BJ70 1985 * The Green Machine - wvo some say The Mighty Pickle ! come on ! 1992*Corolla*All-trac* The Quiet Spirit Si je dois aller en enfer... ce sera en Landcruiser (Canadian french guy (Québécois)... sorry for my english ! ) |

If it is leaking is there anyway to braze it to fix it, or my other suggestion is try getting a whole new or used piece?

Let me more explicit : I talk about the little flexible black tube. (not show on the picture)

Toyota want's too much eh?
Talk to the local parts store about fuel line, maybe they got something you can custom fit? if you plan on running biodiesel some day just stay away from rubber. Cheers, Deny __________________ Diesels Rule 81 BJ42 Check out my endless fix up progress at http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=152995 |

Isn't the oem one rubber anyway? Mine is unless it's not OEM. You could just use some rubber fuel line. BTW the # is 95332-04020 I don't know if it's been superseeded or not.

Any fuel safe hose will do. The scavenger line is low pressure. As Deny says don't use rubber for biodiesel unless you want to replace it with all the other rubber hoses when you do.
