once these bearing are replaced i will still recommend a semi synth for my customers...

Anyone read through most of the posts on the site below?
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/80bigend.htm There is also reports of defective crankshafts,either out of alignment or as some believe,the crank is too light weight and flexing. Some owners claim they had their crank replaced with one that was noticeably heavier. Ive only seen one case of damaged bearings in a HD-T The poor old HDJ80 was driven at 140klms+ for 2 hours towing a small excavator on tandem trailer. Within a week it had the dreaded tick tick tick and some bubbles in the coolant at 200000 klms:sad: |
