diesel H motor- filter question

Does anyone know the correct oil filter for this motor. Any brands/ I have heard it is the same filter for the 2F motor?

My 2H has been running with a Wix 51627 for most of its 430,000 kms. The motor is still tight and doesn't need extra oil between changes so tghe Wix must be good.
This filter is much larger than the filter on the 2F.
For a fuel filter I reccomend a Racor filter/sedimenter added on to the passenger side firewall. The original bolted to the frame under the passenger seat is prone to rust-out and not as easy to flush.

IIRC the H motor uses an element type of filter, but I'm not sure. Does it have a long bolt running through the filter?

Yeah, if you are referring to the "H" rather than the "2H", then you definitely require an element filter. There is no spin-on nor any way to easily convert to a spin-on filter. I get my filter elements and O-rings from Marv Spector.

H motors are also supported by Toyota Industrial Parts, the forklift and tractor division in the US. It could be worth to call to their local dealer for a price.

If this is for a 2H then the Toyota part number is 15600-41010 and I got one at a dealer here in norcal.

I would like to see the mounting set up on that Racor... do you have a pic?
