3B head removal (85 BJ70) - might need #1 injector pipe

When I was removing the union nuts from the injection pump, i was able to remove #2,3 and 4 pipes without any problems. I did spay PB a few days in a raw, but I couldn't remove the #1 pipe. I will try tomorrow. If it will not work, I might need a good used one. If someone has one, please let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

When I had this problem on my 1HZ I bought another open end spanner and put 2 spanners on the nut and it worked.
Doubling the surface area of the spanner allows you twice as much force before it begins to round the edges.

I notched the end of a closed end wrench like a spanner and use it to hold the injector and and tap the other wrench with a small hammer like Wayne mentioned.

The notch in the end of the wrench was just big enough to allow the injector line to pass through.

Wayne,

The problem is, the nut is turning together with the injection pipe, looks like the top of the nut is frozen with the pipe. I tried to smack it a bit with the screwdriver, but still cannot remove it. Well, I was trying to avoid removing the fuel pipe from the feeder pump. BTW, how much you want for the pipe.

Thanks,
Alex
