Is $600 a good price for a 3B?

I have a 1981 BJ-44, and the 2B has a blow by.

I bought a 3B yesterday that had originally been in the local mines. Original factory paint is pristine. I have not heard the engine run.

I got the complete engine(24 volt alternator, stater etc...), the tranny, the transfer case, and the drive shafts and a special 4 gallon size air cleaner, all for 600 clams.

Is that a good price?

I will start a new thread as to whether or not I can use my same engine mounts and what things I need to plan for when I swap a 2B to a 3B.

I would say yes, even if it is blown. 4 ot 5 speed?

Whats the mileage on the B
All Bs have blow by thats normal my 3B blows oil with low kms,my 2Bs smoke low kms to me this is normal.
How many kms and running hours on the 3b mine engine

I bought a 3B once for $500 and it had a hole in the side from a con rod punching its way free. I bought it for parts.

If it runs and has good compression, then yes it's a deal.

No idea of mileage as it is not in vehicle and there was no odometer to come with it.

All I can say is the paint is pristine, which means next to nothing.

It was however run 'til at least 1 alternator quit, which means.... nothing.
