Turbo 'B' Build - Head Removed

So I'm doing up my turbo B.

I have two exhaust studs broken off in the back of the head (non-protruding)

Pulled the head off, looks really good - veryyy mucky inside - I'm probably getting really poor head cooling.

Should I have my valves and seats ground out?

-Hopefully I will post some pictures.

I'm doing the same thing... A B engine turbo. I rebuild my engine, oversize piston and ring, rebuilded head with new valves, seal...., ... ,.... A complet rebuild of the engine an a turbo that I'm working on todays and will normaly end next weekend for the first try.

for your question.. if you normaly rebuild your head... I will tell you to rebuild it before and test the engine compression. A bad engine with a turbo is not a good Idea.

The head looked really good, no cracks between the pistons - a couple of barely visible cracks stemming at the precup and running no more than 2 cm toward the cylinder.

Reinstalled the head, torqued it to 400 ft-lbs to make sure it will never leak. (just kidding)

Turbo manifold is completed, oil pan is off and ready to be fitted with oil return female end.

Still lots more work to go.

So, should I just get a new primer, or am I fucked?
