Wayne- I think I understand the intricacies of why it's no possible- but I still dream about getting an hzj75 legally into the states. Any advice, other than to keep dreaming and wait for them to be older than 25? Thanks, Luke

Have title!
I wanted to provide an update of sorts. I received my Texas title this weekend. So I'm 100% legal now. They didn't really give me too much grief at the DMV either. That was a month and 1/2 ago almost though.

Hi gang,
Several years ago, I brought imported a USA registered 5 ton in Canada. It was fairly easy. THis site was very helpful: http://www.mr2.com/TEXT/Import.html The writer imported an MR2 into Canada. I assume the procedure is similar importing into US from Canada. Use a broker. They will charge you very little and are a big help. Also, the US Customs people were great - very professional & helpful. Sincerely, Bruce in Tsawwassen A2B in a TLC |
