Part # needed!!!

Shite!!! I got the "complete" bulb set from 4WD in Edmonton, but no small peanut bulb for the climate control panel! (the one I really needed).

In any case, can anyone PLEASE tell me what size this thing is? It's 24 volt...a part number to call around with would be awesome, or even a wattage!

Thanks...can you tell my dash is sitting in pieces and I have somewhere to be tommorrow?

OK, I got out the magnifying glass, the bulb says S. 24V 1.8W

Which I assume is 1.8 watt, and it's the push in blade type. We do have a Greg's around here somewhere, I'll find them. I suspect they're closed today with the holiday...argh.

you can replace it with a 3W and be fine... if that is easier to find...

Moose:

Toyota part numbers for:

24v small peanut bulb - 90981-11022 (this is what I'm using in mine although it may be a higher wattage than original).

The green sleeve that goes over the small peanut bulb - 90339-04014.

Stone, I'm under the impression the bulb for the heater control is different than the rest of the dash. Is it true?

Dave: The heater control bulb is a tiny little peanut, same as the one found in the cigarette lighter ring, and *maybe* the lights above the fog lamp switch and rear defroster under the climate controls. The ones on the instrument cluster are the larger peanut bulbs, same as the ones for the filter and pre-heat indicators on the dash.

I'm almost positive that the bulb part # that I noted above is for a 5W...seems to work well in my climate controls though.

The bulb in the climate controls is 1.8 watt, it's only 5mm in diameter and about 18mm long. The bulb below that for the accessories is 5 watt, identical to the guage cluster lights. They're all the "wedge" style.

Moose: I'm using the 5W peanut bulb for all of those applications with no problems. Most of the JDM trucks that have come in have those bulbs burned out. I've been running mine for a year now with no issues re. heat.
