I wonder how much $. My oil change filter costs are nearly $40 alone.

They make promises like the fuel saver gadget companies,and like the fuel saver gadgets there is no independant verification.
If you have a good product,it dont cost all that much to get it independantly tested.
Their claims may have an element of truth to them but how much it will help is debateable.
Vague claims like " some companies are saving 70% " dont impress me.
