Is this your 1985 BJ60 with 250,000kms? What's the secret to your rusty success? That's not really that many k's. And if it's a 85, how does it have an anti sway bar?

Impressive

I thought the bugs got mine. Maybe some dish soap and an SOS pad will help?

I still don't fully understand where all that metal goes.(And I teach Chemistry) P.S. Please don't tell my students.

all 3 85's got rear sway bars the one with the good frame went up to the skihill everyday. these pics are of one that I still drive, although not for much longer as it is getting the powertrain transplanted into a fj62. it has an ihi turbo that puts out 25+psi of tire squeelin fun

I need to find some pics of my first FJ60. It would be a major contender here! I have always thought a better name for this website would be ih8rust.com.

This FJ55 posted a few years ago has to be the worst I have ever seen. I wonder if they will just let it sit there until it is literally a pile of dust?

hey man, looks kinda solid but only i know where all the real cracks are. I figure if the rear pinion leaks, the rear output and the same for the front, aswell as a few oil leaks from the engine, thats all the rust proofing i need.

go big or go home, go cheap or get a job.

that is the only thing that will save the frame is a small or in my case large oil leak.

He's pulling your leg, Joshua.

The frame does resemble wood though.
