Rear wiper control
The rear wiper runs continuously in both the continuous and intermittent positions of the rocker switch. The wiper will not park to the down position when switched off.
What component is likely malfunctioning? thx, MJ |

Could be something to ground in the rear door. Road salt and water do funny things...if corrosion is the culprit you may as well service the motor at this time by opening it up to clean and grease.
You could open up the back and verify that your wiper motor wiring is good then start tracing back towards the switch. Best to unplug the connections and test with power. Let me know by PM if you find a defective switch as I could send you one. Mike __________________ 93 FZJ80 De-flared, de-bumpered and Aussied DD. x2. mine has these positions from "top to bottom" on the rocker: spring loaded washer-on (continuus)-off-spring loaded on.
