any 60 series brake master will work perfectly. no idea why they have different numbers.
the same applies to the clutch slave.
cheers,
J

Don't believe the slaves are the same. When I compared clutch slaves, the HJ had a compression washer to seal the flex line while the FJ used a flare (or vice versa). Same threads, different seal type.

Clutch slaves are definitely different, you'll have to go OEM for those. Clutch masters are the same.

sorry, no. did some research on that. The clutch slaves up to 10/84 are identical. and any FJ slave will bolt up and work fine for the older HJ60s. Also, a FJ slave will work fine on an 85 HJ60. have not tried younger ones.

There are few 60 series that come with vaccum clutch booster and some others not .. there is a diferent in the clutch master. And in the brake apart .. I use a 80 series brake master ( have arear disc conversion ) in my Tencha .. brake very well !

Let me know when you bolt it on. I've replaced a clutch slave on a BJ70, BJ60, and an HJ61 and none matched.. just going off experience.
