bad fuel = poor performance and black smoke

after my 3b sat for a year or so and i brought it back from the dead.....it would blow mega black smoke...I have found by cleaning the separator out and draining the fuel tank, it has solved most of my smoking and sputtering problems. so if you are in doubt drain it out...haha you won't believe what i found in the water separator...not water thats fo sho'...rust
