Valve adjustment is easy, the specs are even in the owners manual if you have it. The FSM lays out the full procedure well.

Replacing rings without doing anything else would be pretty silly, considering you'd already be dropping the pan and pulling the head. I'd imagine its actually not all that cost effective either.

Hopefully the valve adjustment is the fix for getting the compression numbers back within spec.
