AC Pulley for 3B

I have an air con setup for my 3B minus the crank pulley. From my research on previous postings I believe these are about as rare as rocking horse poo. Has anyone got one they are willing to part with?

For anyone interested I have found a place in Australia who can get them for $100AUD (+$10 GST for Aust residence).

If anyone is interested in getting hold on one let me know and I will forward contact details. I have also asked about the compressor bracket and actuator. Will post up what they come back with

Cheers

Try contacting Michael at privateparts4wd. I have bought 2H parts just like you mentioned from him and I think the parts interchange between the 4 and 6 cylinders.

He's outside Sydney on the other side of the continent, but his prices are fair and he's reliable. He has a store on Ebay auz as well.

Good luck and best regards,

Rick

I've heard that a 3b water pump pulley will fit inside the existing crank pulley, and stick out just enough (although I haven't tried it). I wish I knew this before making an adapter to run a mercedes pulley.

Here is a pic of my setup. Not sure what pully was used as I bought the truck like it. The AC will not go back on after the frame off...

Not so! Sorry. The A/C is on opposite sides. The only thing that might cross over is the actual pulley that mounts on the face of the crank. You'll need to ensure you have the right crank pulley as well. If you have OEM power steering you'll be OK otherwise see if the face of the pulley has six bolt holes, if so you're good, if you have only two bolt holes you need to either machine your existing pulley or find a newer one.

Matt PM sent

Simonliew I tried a couple of Toyota Dealers and they couldn't get them in Australia and it was all to hard for them to bother getting from Japan in the end.
