BJ46? in quebec?

Was spoted by a friend in Québec, very nice rig, as anyone ever seen it here on mud? is it own by a active mud member? From the mirror i would think it is from japan, but maybe someone with more knowledge will know better then me.

Not a BJ43

It's most likely a BJ44 (few differences). If it has the full floater, which I don't think it does then it is a BJ46.

You can tell it's not a 43 by the presses OEM fenders over the rear wheels. They were not an optionbefore 1981.

next time your friend should be prepared....make a windshild flyer....like these from yankeetoys....and include Ih8Mud.com...then when the owner posts....you will know what the rig is and if they are a MUDer

I don't know too much about BJ43-44 etc... from the TLC FAQ there ain't much about the difference.

Not all 44's came with a full floater. It's probably a 46 as it has the factory rear wheel moldings.

And......... to my knowledge, 43's never came with a hardtop. All the ones I have seen, have been soft tops.

That has to be the most ignorant web page I've ever seen! do those guys think we all have a T-1 connection to our PC's???
okay lets put 4000 images on the same page. I wonder how many potential customers just bail befor they find the import there looking for??
okay I'am done flipping out now!

Hard Top 43 on the way

You guys are right - 43's had the rag -top and were marketed more toward farm use. I have 79 that came from Germany that will soon have a carefully crafted hard top. I'll post pictures when it's done.
