1hd-t Camshaft?

Any body seen or heard of an aftermarket camshaft for a 1HD-T? Would you even want one? I found this on the link referenced in the "cheap ponies for HD81v" thread. Here is the link with the shaft on it.

ok MONEY aside, anybody ever heard of someone upgrading the cam? results? i beilieve the ad has the lift specs on it. does anyone know what kind of power/torque that would translate to?

sorry cant help you from personal experience, but I think someone on here (in AU) built a 1HZ turbo engine using a special grind 1HD cam. If I come accross it Ill post the thread.

1.6L IDI diesel jetta guys do custom cams. I saw a dyno of a little diesel rabbit that put 200hp to the ground. Was pretty kewl. Some how I dont think longevity was the goal

The guys pulling ludicrous numbers on cummins engines are mostly using stock cams.
