Fj and Bj Fans
Got thinking about fans after reading a post yesterday .So I checked my fan on my 1981 BJ42 and it is plactic. I believe it has 6 blades. How many blades are on an FJ40 fan ??Are there 7 on Fj and 6 on Bj [3b] application??

All very interesting.I do not need a fan, thank God. I was just wondering .I do in fact have a plastic 6 blade fan that I believe to be correct. Looks like a hard item to find Part number for and to find new or used ones??

Those models ran the B engines in the 80s and 90s . Assuming the fans are the same between Lcruiser and trucks of course. __________________ HZJ75 cab chassis 95 model ,stocker FJ73+1HZ Diesel NEW GEARBOX 1HZ =same power as 3F with 30% better fuel economy 2in Dobinsons lift.Powerdown adj shocks 33 in BFG A/T HJ61 with slidin windas regrettfully SOLD:(Volvo 740 GL |

Hi Joe
CCOT had them available (for my cruiser) last time I placed an order with them (couple of years ago now) - But then I decided against ordering one at that time to keep the packaging "size and fragility" down (because I had issues with the freight cost in getting their stuff over to NZ). The blades weren't expensive either. Then again - Mine is a 2977cc engine which could mean a different blade to yours. (But as I told you by email - mine is indeed 6-bladed plastic).
