Rear pads are the same, discs are not.

The rear discs on 90 to ~8/92 JDM 81's were smaller than the ones used post ~8/92 in both the US and JDM models.

Rear rotors went from 312mm OD and 18mm thick to 336mm OD and 18mm thick. No cross to a US model for the earlier 312 x 18 discs.

The front rotors went from 286mm OD and 25mm thick to 311mm OD and 32mm thick. These will cross with the US models of the same vintage, but finding a rotor is not just a trip to the local NAPA.

No issues with getting the discs, getting the discs quickly and at a decent price is another story.

While the 70 series rear discs are 312 x 18 the total height on them is only 63mm compared with the 80 series having a total height of 103mm.

Do you mean width of the area that has friction contact?
