3b + turbo

Good afternoon,
What would be your recommendations for turbocharging a 3b? Wich manifold? And wich turbo? Anything else?

I am thinking of stelaing arnott1t's idea (http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24-volts-systems/74262-my-turbo-charging-results.html)
But nut sure yet.. Any ideas on what to use? I'm not sure i want to pay 3k for a kit..

How much would you boost?

Howdy Klaufi, welcome to mud.

As a new member one of the best features is going to be the search function. It will be mentioned lots you will see.

The 3b is a good engine to turbo. And also there are lots of great threads on it. We get the question quite often. So no worries, your not the first to ask about it..

The opinions very greatly on whats best. But either way you will be turbo'd. I went the 13b-t manifold method.

GandScruiser parts in Vancouver sells them.

For turbo, there are plenty of ideas you can read about on here.

Take some time and research fully. I bet there are 100's of threads on here about turbo'ing a 3b.

Cheers, BB
