thats a lot of info there... I will have to sit down and read thru his tests.

I have been happy with my Autometer gauge.

Pure accuracy IMOP isn't that important.. As this is a reference gauge. There is not one degree or so that is going to crap an engine. It's going to be working in the higher temps day after day that is going to cause issues.

It's just to have a clear idea that what's goin on with your engine when you are driving it ..

Good read on the fundamentals of how a pyrometer works. I was unaware for example that in its basic form a pyro needs no external power source to operate...whooodathunk.
