bosch Hand Primer

Hi
just posting an info that might be useful for someone else. didn't find it on the forums, so here goes. I replaced the hand primer on my 3b with the famous Bosch equivalent if anyone wants to know the part number, it's: 2 447 010 033.
Just keep / reinstall the little spring and plastic valve under the primer. Hope this will be useful.

I just picked one up also. It's not made by Bosch but some other German company. I also got a replacement plastic valve and a new copper o-ring.

mine was made by bosch, in Austria.

I like these primers. How much did you pay? Mine was around 20 dollars. Much cheaper than a denso leaking unit.

Hey Deny, I got mine in PG. He threw it on the bus to Smithers. I'll find the reciept. There was only a couple fuel injection places there. You go there often?

I got it from Steve at EBI. It was like $50 for all three pieces. Can't remember the brand, I can post it tomorrow

Yah the oem one is like 40 bucks in many places. That's why I like the bosch.

My oem one leaks at idle. But only when the engine is running....

Yeah, back in the day I bought a bunch in Vancouver (Fred Holmes) for under $20 I think, but my brother was just up here and used up my spare. Yes I drive through PG atleast 2wice a year. I'll ask around here, then maybe try your PG place if you can find your reciept, otherwise I will see if Fred Holmes can ship them up here for not too much.

Prince George fuel injection I think is the place. I too only get there once or twice a year. So having them ship em is the best way.

Fred Holmes is in PG too..... I find my reciept.

Wilson & Proctor in Victoria BC has them in stock as well.

I just got two from my local shop $20 each. According to this shop there are several bosch numbers that are ultimately the same part.
