frames will be the same. All the mounts will be different. You will have to use all the parts from your BJ60. Mounts, crossmembers etc...

Please do a write up as you build it.

Welcome to the forum.

If you have the gearbox bolted to the engine and bolt the gearbox into place on the crossmember ,and then lower the engine, the engine mount frame brackets will be in the correct spot.
If you also have the 3B radiator and shroud from a BJ60 you fan will be close to central.

This how I done mine and when I checked it against a factory job ,it was close to perfect
You just have to make sure the gearbox and tranny from the donor are the same length overall as the one you are replacing.

Assuming the 62 he is converting is an automatic, the trans cross member will not be in the right spot. He will have to use the cross member and the mounts from the 60. Get those in the right spot, then use the transmission to align the engine.

thx all for the tips,
where do i take the measurements so that i can get the proper location to weld the tranny mounts , because the fj62 is an auto tranny and the bj is a standard 4spd.
thx all
