Not really. Check the diesel section, there is info in a sticky thread at the top of that forum about importing.

P.S. I think you posted in the wrong section.

It isnt legally possible. There are all kinds of loopholes in the system, and I suppose if you found a way through one of those technically you wouldnt be breaking the law, but it isnt legally possible here in Warshington state.

My experience with importing diesels from canada at any rate, was that it will do you a world of good to call customs (repeatedly) at the port that you're going to be using and talk to as many people as you can and see what they have to say about it.....it helped me find a loophole that allowed me to bring in two nonexempt diesel cruisers anyway.

If your pockets are deep, it can be done but to the tune of thousands over the purchase price to make the neccessary modifications to meet U.S. specs and regulations UNLESS the vehicle is 25+ years old.

If it was sold in Canada for the Canadian market it is no problem to import to the US, basically the BJ-70 and diesel 60 series. You have to figure out the paper work or go through a Registered Importer that is familiar with importing diesels as some RI are afraid to tackle diesels. No go on any other market vehicles unless you have deep pockets or find some other way, whether leagal or not.
