2H Fuel Adjust

I saw some pics for fuel adjustment in the 2H inline pump but I can recognice the adjust nut in my pump ..

Here some pics If I can get some help here to know how I can adjust my pump.

Today I take a match with Tito ( - uhuru - ) with his 1HD-T @14 PSI and the diference with my engine was very impresiove ..

I ran 1100 EGT max at 3k rpm pedal to florr .. so I want more diesel ..

At 3k RPm I'm making around 14 PSI

Top pic has the alt adjustement on it. The bottom pic doesn't

Same principle for adjustment though..

Tapage,

Your injector pump has the high altitude compensator (HAC) on it. It is the big cylindrical part that sits below where the adjuster screw is in the third pic. To adjust your fuel I believe you need to turn the whole HAC to adjust it. I can't see it in your pic, but originally the HAC has a wire, and a lead seal on the shaft coming out of it. If it is still there, you will have to cut it, and install a new one when you are done adjusting. The FSM breezes through this procedure (pages FU78-FU79) during re-assembly of the injector pump. Good luck!

Tapage, I did this a while ago on my 2H. I have always heard to screw it down for more fuel, out for less. THIS WAS NOT TRUE. Screwing it down creates less overfueling, backing it out allows for more overfueling. Try 1/2 turn and drive, 1/2 turn and drive.

Ok .. first thanks guys ..

I'm dealing with the HAC last sat. I can turn it ( the hole cilindrical part ) easy by hand .. and I thought it was related with the fuel adjustment, only I turn it to the right and have no changes in my fueling ( at least that I can see in my pyro )

This it's the turning way for more fuel . ..?

I thought I move the entire piece .? anycase my HAC not function .. coz last time that I go over 2000 mts over the sea level have ijection issues.

IIRC loosen the locknut. You turn the whole housing and screw it in further on the HAC. Then tighten the locknut. minor adjustments you won't notice. I had to turn mine 4-5 full turn revolutions IIRC at 5500ft to get any noticable difference. IIRC i'm pretty close to having it screwed all they way in. To see if it's doing anything at all unscrew it most of the way and see how black she blows

Woooooohooooooooooooooooo ! I'm Faw**** happy guys !

Now I get the power

I make a 1.5 hole turn .. ( to the left, opposite to the clock ) and voila ! have pretty much more sooner boost, making 10 PSI at 2k rpm and reaching 1200F after 22 km of full throtle at 3K rpm producing 15 PSI
