What sizes are my fusable links supposed to be?

Diesel Tech and 24 volts Systems BJ/HJ diesels, other diesel conversions (ie: Isuzu, Hino, etc) and Importation questions.

I think that my cruiser's last owner had been using regular wire in place of fusable links...I've replaced a couple of them with 2.0 mm fusable link wire from kragen which seems to be working just fine, but was wondering what sizes they are actually supposed to be.
