Horn Upgrade

The stock HJ60 horn is pretty pathetic. Almost sounds like the old beep..beep, roadrunner horn. Anyone out there know of a good 24v aftermarket replacement?

I have no experience with a 24V vehicle, so this may be a bad idea, but can you get something like a regular set of Hella Supertones (12V) but run them in series?

You could, I have. And let me tell you, 2x hella or alpex airhorns moves people out of your way... Jus be aware that this setup draws a lot of power. My dashlights go dim when I use mine with engine at idle...

you have to get quad air horns!! With an on board air compressor. They make them for big rigs. The horn works on air obviously but they have a small 24V relay. You can find them in alot of different place online. I belief JC whitney has a few online.
