3B into BJ40 swap HELP

I am in the process of swapping the B in my '80 BJ40 for a (supposedly) 3b from an / 85 BJ60. I got all the stuff hanging off the block swapped when I discovered the water pump snouts are different lengths, the B motor pump being an inch shorter...I can't just swap pumps, the 3B pump has an outlet on the far left that the B pump does not have...Is there a short 3 B pump? should I just go with the longnose, get a deep pulley for the pump (it's out by an inch right now)...with the deep snout...rad issues? Can anyone enlighten me...

when I did the B to 3B swap, I don't remember having this issue....did you swap the crank pulleys as well?

when I did my swap, the 3b had a double crank pulley on it so the belts lined up fine, and there was tons of room between the rad and waterpump, so that wasn't an issue either...?

I've figured it out...I've been told that there are deeper pulleys for the longnose waterpump, I did not change the crank pulley/balancer, it has a single pulley on it. It should line up with the deeper fan pulley, and after measuring, the fan will still easily fit the BJ40 shroud...I'm just waiting to see the deep pulley, then I'll be happy...
