Nice videos. It really hauls butt. I counted about 6 seconds on the 0-60.

Why in the hell did Toyota not sell these here? Fawk Toyota North America.

Only thing I think it need next is to remove the "unleaded fuel only" on the gauges...LOL. Other than that perfect....

Edit, mistake... noticed I was wrong with the 6 seconds.

Thanks. Believe me, if there were guage faces that would work we'd use em. As much of a perfectionist as I am, it irks me to have that there.

wonder how hard it is to go inside the gauge pod and pick the details off.

There is a press on lettering called "velvet touch letters" you rub the letters on. Used in aviation on marked panels.

then you find the right size font and rub the letters on.

Actually I tried google'ing it and found that "rub on letters" gets the best hits. I saw one site had them in white, similar fonts.

SO I would try(if you even cared) removing the stock ones, and rubbing on new ones saying diesel fuel only.........

Highly unneeded ,but may be fun to try on a scrap gauge pod first.

The best solution is an aftermarket supplier for gauge faces in the UK. They sell mph speedo conversion faces. The only problem is that when you slap one of those on a US model speedo, it's about 20mph off. I'd like to see if they could make a run of US versions some time. Here's what they look like -Todd

The engine was cold and this is without the ECT on as well which is basically "sport mode". It changes the shift points and timing for a more peppy ride. I'd say it substantially changes the performance. Dont know why I didnt time it with the ECT on.

I went back and looked. He starts the roll at 02:21 mins and hits 60 mph at 02:32 seconds.

So yah your right. I read the meter on the video. Not sure how I got 6 seconds before........Must have missed the first little bit.

Still looks pretty quick.

The customer picked it up today and has begun his exodus back to Vermont from San Antonio. He called me from the road and said he measured 31.7 mpg on the 1st fill-up or 490 miles on a 15.5 gal tank of diesel. He said the needle doesnt move from the totally full mark until right around 225 miles!

Thanks guys...If interested, please call or email us. The real question Heep eaater is how deep are your pockets. The Duramax is a pretty easy swap but parts are expensive.
