Hello,
What is the EDIC? I have a '81 3B, I think it has one but what does it do?

\It Regulates fuel to the motor and also stops the motors operation.

Provides excess fuel during startup, correct fuel during normal running and engine shutdown on either low oil pressure or turning off the key. Basically three positions, overinject, normal and off.
It is properly called the "Electronic Diesel Injection Controller".
