block heater
I had new block heater installed about 3 years ago and it is dead.
What do you guys suggest for a brand? Not sure what was put in my truck. thanks! __________________ 81 BJ60 turbo, intercooler, snorkel, etc. |

leave that one in and go with a lower rad hose heater...

zerostart. you can either get a replacement for your blockheater, or, like wayne suggested the inline heater. we sell em for about $25 for the inline heaters and about $20 for the block heaters, so neither way will break your wallet.

do you have to cut the lower rad hose to put it in?
Any particular brand for those? I'm assuming they work better then a block heater? __________________ 81 BJ60 turbo, intercooler, snorkel, etc. |

yes, works better than block heater.

So it is just held in with hose clamps then?
