Question Heated Seats HJ61

MY 87 HJ61 has the heated seats(very nice ). On the switch there are two positions indicating a red light and a green light. I have heat on the red light position but I am not sure what is happening with the green light on? Not sure that it is working correctly.

Thanks

Green = Low
Orange = High...

(as far as I can tell)

They also shut off automaticaly once they get too hot. There must be some sort of heat sensor or something along those lines in the seats. If its warm outside and I turn them to either setting, they don't come on at all..

Hope that helps..

Daryl

Heated seats

Hey my 88 HJ60 also has heated seats. I have only had it for a few months so I have not tried to fix it yet, but my passenger side does have full heat, and my seat (drivers) the seat heaters are broken. The lights on the switches on the console works for both sides, but mine has no heat.

Well at least the girlfriend stays warm

Anyone with ideas? Fuses, temp sensors?

Thanks Andrew
