Fuseable link
Hi Guys,
I want to replace this fuseable link - anyone know where i can get one? It is for a 12V system. Can't seem to get one from toyota or ENS. Can something be substituted for it? __________________ Louis Check out my youtube videos at: www.youtube.com/lshobie Join the True North Toyota Land Cruiser Club in Ottawa http://landcruisers.ca/ |

I bought the stock bj70 one. It's only a 2 wire and there is another 3rd wire that is seperate. I ran that for a bit and scraped that and modified my harness to run the FJ60 fusible link which is a nicer plug and play. Plus I grabbed probably 3 spares at a bone yard. Or you can go to napa etc and buy fusible link wire and make your your own. That connection has seen better days. __________________ 1964 FJ40 | 1966 M416 | 1976 FJ40 | 1985 BJ70 Volvo Power| 1997 FZJ80 | TDI commuter car Rising Sun; Former CLCC You should be able to delete your own thread. You can get fusible links at most any auto parts store. You usually need to know the cross sectional area of the link, or you can try and ask about sizing/load characteristics from a trained (ie: not some dumb high school kid) parts person.
good luck. __________________ 1978 FJ40 - parts vehicle - PM me 1987 HJ61 VX 5spd - loaded - daily driver 1981 BJ42 - ARBs, Warns, oba, ps, h55f, hws, soa |
