starter solenoid?
I'm having issues with the starter on HJ60. Sometimes it gets stuck on and will not disengage from the flywheel.
Turning the key off does not help, the starter keeps my diesel dieseling.
I cleaned all the electrical contact and that seem to help for 2 weeks. Now I just smack it with a hammer when it sticks.
Is this an issue with the starter or the starter solenoid? Do I need to change both or can I just change / fix the solenoid?
Thanks for the help

I'd pull the starter (easy enough to do) and start cleanin everything that seems pertinent.
