BJ42 lights out on one side?
Hi all,
Can anyone help with diagnosing an electrical problem. My right side headlight and right side tail light are out, but the bulbs are fine. It's on a 24 volt BJ42. It even seeems to have a hot wire to the headlight ... judging by the spark I got when I grounded the wire. James |

For your headlight, read these threads, and you will show two hot leads on one side (one neutral, one other pin to cancel it out): http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24-volts-systems/68379-78-bj-40-headlight-diagram.html http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24-volts-systems/69908-headlight-problem-78bj40.html http://forum.ih8mud.com/diesel-tech-24-volts-systems/111405-14-3v-out-my-edic-my-oil-px-switch.html hth's gb |

Thanks Greb_B
Thaks for the info Greg_B, I'll check those leads out. I tried the FAQ's and searches, but wasn't able to come up with the info. Thanks for the links!
