I started having the same problem 2 days ago, in above 20 degree Celcious weather, so its defanately not gelling. I figure it has something to do with either water, algae or dirt in the filter (i pumped the oil outta my oil furnace tank into my hdj81) but since u guys are having the same problem and have changed the filter........im lost :( today the truck was gutless, no matter if i floored it or not. put it in neutral to rev it up and most of the time it would, but as soon as i put it back on drive, it'd have no power at all. When she wanted to stall, there was nothing i could do to stop it, neutral, reving.....nothing would work.

F R U S T R A T I O N . . . . . . .. . . HELP PLEASE.

Alrighty, so good news. i filled up the tank again with the same stuff. and she ran like normal, perfectly fine, which leads to me to believe that as the fuel was getting low, the pump was picking up all the junk from the bottom of the tank. so the next thing to do is to change my fuel filter and open up my fuel tank and try to clean up as much garbage as possible. i am so glad it was something this simple, lets hope that this is where this ends.

Let us know what you find in the tank, also if you feel you have water issues you can add a it of acetone to the fuel. This will bond to water pulling it through the system and should help.
