12ht/a440 Trany Mount Question

I have an 88' FJ62 and have bought a 12ht/A440 combo. My question is and have read several other posts but I'm either to thick or my question wasn't answered by them do please humor me. Will I need to move my tranny mount on this install. I know motor mounts yes but tranny mount? Please help with you collective wisdom.
John

Your in the for sale or wanted section.

But to answer your question without having done this swap is yes it should line up with the origal mount AFAIK.

So how did this work out? I assume your tranny mount was okay but you had to move/make mounts for the 12ht? (asking because I am about to do it)

I'd be interested to know the answer to this one. Are the engine/trany mount locations for a 3F/A440 and a 12HT/a440?

I guess that tells me that the A440 and transfer are in the same place. Still not sure about the motor mounts.

You can find a lot these answers by comparing part numbers.
compare the brackets for the respective models at
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ or get Toyota EPC loaded on your computer.

The engine mounts (part numbers) are different.
Whether or not they can be moved and or modified slightly to work is for you to find out when you get
to that point in the conversion.
At least the stock tranny mount/x member is the same and therefore dictates the position of the 12H-T.

motor mounts are not in the same location

also to support the trans swap question - I put a 13BT/A440 into an FJ62 and the trans lined up . I dont see why the A440 from a 61 would not line up.
