HJ60 - Nelson, BC, Canada

As the title says, I have an HJ60 for sale.

The good:

2H 6 Cylinder Diesel
H55F 5 speed
350k kms (220k miles)
Solid frame (surface rust only)
Air Conditioning!
Brand new exhaust system from manifold to tailpipe
New rear springs (stock height)
Newer injectors

The bad:

Rusty body. PM and I will email pictures.
Motor has a bad knock and must be repaired. Rebuild kits available here for $1350 <http://store.4wheelauto.com/view_product.php?product=DIEW0Z2J22>



Located outside Nelson, BC, Canada.
$1200 CDN ($1200 US) with axles negotiable, as I would like them for my FJ40, maybe...

PM and I will email some pictures. I have sold several diesel cruisers to the US and woulld love to see this one go down as a motor donor or a body swap candidate.

I just want the Compressor and bracketry. im putting it all in an FJ body that had it stock.

Just to clarify, this is NOT a right (wrong) hand drive vehicle. This truck was originally sold in Canada.

I have no experience rebuilding 2Hs. All I know is the cost of a rebuild kit, mentioned above.

Couer d'alene is quite close though....


I will part her out, motor/tranny/trans and AC as a package.

If you do it yourself - $2500 in parts and machine work.

Thanks for the estimate Zulu. Those numbers sound about right to me.

Anway, shameless bump, will accept interesting trades, particularly snowmobile, tractor, or ?

How hard would it be to tow it to Utah on an Aframe, and what paper work would be needed?

The easiest $$ and Paperwork wise is take a sawsall and cut the frame in half....Then she is a parts only rig.........(just remember...she's a heavy beast)

If you are parting out I will take the tranny plus all the extra's to make a 5 speed job complete. Live in vancouver and will pick upm the parts..

Importing as parts, as far as I know, only requires a bill of sale.

Anyone willing to pick up parts can make an offer. Idealy I would sell the tranny and transfercase with the motor, although I believe the 2h will bolt to a 2f h55f tranny? Can anyone confirm that?
