13BT w/5spd transfer, and supra turbo

I finally got around to testing this 13BT I have. Compression numbers are very good and this is the smoothest running 13 I have ever had. In the process of running it today, I noticed that it has been upgraded with a custom ct-26 turbo instead of the standard (smaller turbine) CT-26 that comes on the 13's. Drivetrain is located in North Carolina. Complete drivetain with some nice additional components like shroud, air cleaner, motor mounts, etc. Email me for a photo, or additional info. $5,500 THIS ITEM IS SOLD

That would depend on your offer, whether or not you were picking it up in person, and if you were bundling this with anything else I'm selling. Why don't you PM me....my email through mud is getting spammed to death right now, so don't email unless it's through my website.

It is 24V. I put a 12V alt on mine and replaced the starter motor with a 12v one from a minitruck diesel. You don't have to wire up the glow screen....I am not using mine, but I know others have gotten by with wiring up one half the glow screen with 12v.

I need to put this item on hold until I can properly identify the turbo that's on it. I will post it up for sale again when I have complete information on it's origin.

Back up. The exhaust pipe shown is no longer included. I'm putting my cast iron dump bell on it, and a stubby downpipe for you to fab your own exhaust.

It was 400psi across the board with a stone cold motor that had been sitting for a minimum of 6 months prior to starting. My own motor was at 410 cold, but having been run within a day or so prior.

is this engine the type that would be good in an 80 series, or would it work in a hilux?

They have been put in a 60 series before, but I would think it to be a bit underpowered for an 80. I also have a 12HT, which would be a much better fit....especially with turbo fiddling.
I just shimmed the wastegate on my 13bt in 15 minutes and had a noticable increase in upper end power.
A 13bt would be a monster in a hilux....don't those weigh less than a 40?

Does the 13b-t require a computer for the injection system? If so is that included with the drievetrain?

No, it doesn't use a computer....and thank your lucky stars for that. It makes them very simple to install and work on. You have starter leads, starter solenoid wire, alt wires, and then one wire to the fuel cut.....but you can actually do that by hand cable. If you choose to use the glow screen and a/c, that's another two wires. Really very easy to wire up. The biggest hurdle you will have is deciding whether to keep it 24v or go to 12v. I went to 12v because 24 is uncommon around here and my truck was already 12.

I'm thinking about it for my 45. Just have to wait for the 45 to get here and be sure it's not a complete basket case before committing to an engine for it. If the body is good I'm planning to buy this drivetrain if it's still available.
