Since my cruise control doesn't work (I haven't really looked into it), I was thinking that it *may* be useful to get a spare... Maybe it's a simple fix, though, don't know what really to look for... Hmmm!

The cruise control was sold a year ago. I had to turn in the license plates when I de-registered the truck.

Some states in the US "require" that you turn in the plates when you sell a vehicle, such as Massachusetts...
others,like WA, have the plates transfer with the vehicle... others, like VT, require new plates upon vehicle transfer but don't require the old plates be turned in... maybe the different prefectures in Japan have different rules as well?
