RHD TRE - best place to buy...

Just wondering where's the best place, other than the dealership (if any) to buy Tie rod ends for my 88HJ61.
I've got the part numbers for them already.
thanks in advance.

Why don't you want to buy from a dealership?

I don't mind buying from a dealership. I always like shopping around first though. Make sure I'm not getting taken to the cleaners. Know what I mean?
Shopping pays.

Well, i called them and they gave me pricing for the part numbers I gave them. 1 was in stock. the other had to be ordered. I think one of them is common to the LHD, is it not?

Hey Beau,

I've got a couple of aftermarket ones I am looking to sell. I've got both the left and the right. I intended on replacing them due to some front end issues but it ended up being some other problem. I bought them from 4wheel, they are "555" brand, made in Japan.

PM me if interested.

The tie rod end that does not have the draglink connection (the tapered hole) on it is common to both LHD and RHD. You would only need the one specific TRE. I have a used one, but I'm not sure it will be much better than the one you have.

The threads aren't different. I have a bunch here for the 70 series, will check to see if they cross. All are toyota and new.

What part numbers do you have for them?

I have a bunch of them for all kinds of applications:

45047-69085 3 Tie Rod End $70.00

45046-60H05 3 R.H. Tie Rod End $50.00

45045- 69075 1 Rod Assembly

45044--69145 4 Front Rods

4545069185 1 Front Relay Rod

I am pretty sure that the first ones would work for you, i ordered some cdn bj70 relay rod ends for a JDM bj74 - they were the same - just had to switch the ends.

Were are you located?

Louis - Those first 2 (45046 & 45047) are the part numbers in the EPC for my HJ61. How much do you want for a set? I'm in Toronto so shipping shouldn't be too bad.
Let me know.

HI Guys, I was quoted a price of 130 and 123 respectively from toyota for those TRE, Beauh said his toyota dealership quoted much less - can someone else check the prices to see if I am out to lunch?

Anyway, the price is now 50 bucks each while quantities last.

Regards,
