CLUB TRIP!! & meeting notes

Our club trip is scheduled for Saturday, October 6th, We will be meeting at the Loveland Safeway (on 287) at 9:00 am from there we will be heading out to the Carnage trail in lefthand canyon as that is not a real long trail, we will then head for Coney flats and if we're still in the mood for more School Buntz road will be next. Looks like a good day for wheeling! Hope to see you all there!

At the meeting last Thursday we also voted to adopt the Sand Creek trail at the request of the forest service, Bob has the details. The other thing that was discussed is the importance of tracking our hours, the form requires dates, hours, and observations of the trail as well as useage. I will bring extra forms for everyone on Saturday for anyone who wants them.

I can't make the club run this month, but may try to go up to the Sand creek trail to check it out on the 13th if I get my hard doors done. I will post up next week for that. Hope everyone has a fun trip. The Cottora bunch will be doing the MSV/Coney flats trails Sunday also. You all may see some snow up there!!

To get to the Carnage trail you take 287 south towards Longmont to Hwy 66 turn right (west) towards Lyons about 5 miles to Hwy 36 turn left (south) go about 10 miles to CR 94 towards Jamestown turn right (west) for 3.7 miles to trailhead. There are usually quite a few vehicles at the bottom. Or you could just meet us at Safeway in Loveland which is on 287 south of Hwy 34 on the lefthand side. or feel free to call Pauls' cell.
