club discount on 4x4 books!

Hey, guess what... The club now gets a 10% discount at Outback USA! I ordered some books there this week, and thought I'd ask them about giving a club discount after I'd bought my books...

I got that just for asking nicely. I'm gonna try that with some other places, too! It's a great bookstore if you haven't been there. They're the "Pass Patrol" folks, and they're in Aurora, CO, so they're close enough to consider them locals.

(I'll try to remember to bring their books to the meeting this month)

I think there are probably quite a few store owners who'd be happy to offer a club discount.

I also think the right way to go about it is to buy something first, and then ask if they'd consider offering a club discount. That way, they're less likely to think you're just in it for yourself.
