Drive Shaft Balancing in Colorado Springs

Howdy Folks,

Can anyone recommend a good shop in Colorado Springs (preferably on the north side) for balancing a drive shaft? Thanks.

Matt

The only place I know of is Drive Live Service. Located down of Sierra Madre. I think.

Drive line is the better and cheaper of the two places. Is located on sierra madre off of Cimmaron/24. Come off I25 southbound and turn left, after going under the highway and over the bridge the bridge, turn right at bottom of the hill. This is Sierra Madre. they are about a half mile down on the left befor the railroad tracks. See you on the trail!!

Thanks. With my new job in the Springs, I suspect that some more wheeling in the COS area will be in order.

The guy I dealt with at Driveline Service of Colorado Springs (I forgot his name) was great. They inspected my work (I replaced a u-joint), cleaned up and balanced the drive shaft. They even painted it. $50 Not bad. Thanks for the referal.

Just another bump for these guys. Dropped my bashed up driveshaft off at about 11am today and had it re-tubed and had it back by 1pm. $100 not a bad deal at all.

They are the only people who touch my drive shafts. I have dealing with them for years. They can even do custome work. Nice people and good work=a return customer.

Wow, you guys are lucky- I shopped around (Phoenix) and got my 80 rear shaft re-tubed and balanced for $200, and felt like I got a deal compared to other places I called. I was quoted over $70 just for a balance when I decided later to clock the splines 90 degrees, but then he went ahead and balanced it free. He did do nice work though.
