Cruiser Mechanic Near Colorado Springs?

I need to have my carb rebuilt on my 1985 FJ60. I'm looking for a mechanic in the Springs area that knows Cruisers inside and out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Big Sky Automotive in Divide can fix it. Call Rey at 686-7390. Rey had a repair shop in Arizona that specialized in Toyota's.

Justin at Redline may be able to help you or put you in touch with someone who can. Redline Motorsports - Toyota Land Cruiser & Race Products

I think Tanner 4X4 in Colorado Springs can help you out as well.

if you want a Perfect Carb, Send it to Jim C - Search Jim C on IH8MUD for his info.. i think its almost $200, but he is a Master at Cruiser Carbs, and builds them for people around the country..

Rey and Redline obviously can help you out, but no one knows more about these carbs than Jim..

Or If your intrested in never having issues again.. Pm me and Redline can get a quote together for you for Installing a TBI fuel injection System. carbs have not been built now for 20 Years.. TBi was the best mod ive done to my cruiser!

Trevor

x2 on the Jim C carb rebuild. If you can afford the downtime this will probably be the all time best thing you can do for your 2F.

If you are interested I have a carb you could buy and send off to get rebuilt. That way your downtime is minimal.

Private Message me if you are interested.

Another great Toyota mechanic (and other makes, as well) is Don at Bear Automotive in Colorado Springs, 591-5700. Don was a charter member of CLC and knows Land Cruisers inside and out.
