I'm disappointed in myself, because a real friend would have been there to help you get the fire out..............and then laugh his a$$ off and had nothing but jokes about it for the rest of the night!!!! lol.

what were you saying about bringing squirrel food for my motor???? ha ha, yeah, my belt squeaks, but that's one smokin' engine you got yourself there!!!!! man that thing is HOT!!!! ahhhhh, I kill myself. Let me know if you need any help!

I am squarely putting the blame on Lonnie. I have ran Chinaman's three times with Lonnie and had problems with Pretty Penny all three times. I have ran Chinaman's a couple of times without Lonnie and came home those times with no problems.

Luke,

Thanks of offer to laugh at me, I mean help me, but I think I will bust a few knuckels on my own before I subject myself to your help.

Inside Luke is saying it's not me I'm not the one who had problems this time!

I haven't started to fix it yet so I don't know what I will find. For some reason I am laughing about it as well. Kind of the same thing as laughing at someone who falls down, they may be hurt bit its hard not to laugh.

I've heard it said before that 4x4 people are the happiest people when it comes to their hobby, because they are happy when they don't break anything and also happy when they do.

how many times have we all bragged about breaking that "indestructible" part, or that crazy part that no one else breaks? Have to admit, having a meltdown-wiring fire is a pretty good campfire story................It's all good, things get fixed, and usually better than before. I love 4 wheeling!!!!!!

Right now Justin and I are painting my house, shortly after that I will be putting the 4runner into the garage to tear into the rear suspension and install my Marlin leaf springs. The down time involved is going to kill me, but hopefully the '88 Toyota will get me through.

We ran Iron Chest Saturday morning followed by a rest in St. Elmo with ice cream for the kids (me included) then we had to play in the river to wash off the ice cream because it was hot and sunny and melted the ice cream quickly. Then it was off to run Grizzly Lake. Shortly after Lonnie and I started fly fishing at Grizzly lake it started to rain which continued on for about 40 minutes. Sometime around 10pm, not sure of the time but it was after three or four beers, it started to sprinkle. Lonnie set up his awning next to the camp fire but it stopped sprinkling shortly after that. In the morning we had a storm roll through with some lightning and rain but by 9am it was clear skies so we loaded up and headed for Chinaman's. On Chinaman's the trail was getting very warm until the clouds rolled in around 1pm and we had some light rain at about 4pm. It was a good thing I didn't need rain to help put out the Pretty Penny fire because by 5pm the rain had stopped.
