Spring Creek August 23rd
I have lots of things I need to be working on but I want to go on the Spring Creek trip that is scheduled for August 23rd. Who else is planning on making the Spring Creek run?

I can't go on this one.
The wife has other plans, with her family, for me that weekend.
Sorry

Sounds like it could be me, Rey, Luke and maybe Darwin and Vic on this run.
I think Rey, Luke and myself will be going up 67 to 285 to 470 and 70 to Downieville since we all live in Woodland Park and Divide. Lets plan to meet at the gas station in Downieville at 9:30am for everyone coming up I25 from the Springs.

I am planning on coming, at this point. I'll be driving up I-25. I'll see you at the gas station in Downieville.

One more thing - I am not going to wait until 8:00 to leave the McDonalds on N. Academy tomorrow morning. I don't think I could get to Downieville in 1.5 hrs. So, I will stop by the McDonalds at 7:00, pick up some grub, and leave immediately. That way, I can have a leisurely trip and save some fuel.

Kevin, if you remember back to Cruise Moab 2000, my oldest son was 6 months old then and enjoyed wheeling. Now he is 8. He and my other son both play soccer in the spring and fall so we are at the soccer fields for six saturday's in a row starting on September 6th. If we end up with a bye in the game schedule that weekend, I'll go. I've always had a good time at Holy Cross even when it is a long day and crowded.

We had a great trip on Saturday, complete with enough rain to slick up the trail, especially the nastiest obstacle. Gary will soon post photos at aixelsyd.org. Brent said thank you to the group for waiting for him Saturday morning.

I agree with Vic that we had a great time on Spring Creek. I see that Gary has photo's on his site.
